Ok I need to do a rs232 lite on mod. I have no way f getting the connect kit by today and no one around here sells the max232 board. So all I have is a serial to usb cable and a serial port on my old pc. Can i just use a standard serial cable and cut it and use the tx rx pins and use another source for the power? Need answer asap. Thanx
