Ok, Here's the problem:

Whenever I try to stream a movie from my computer to the xbox, the movie starts, and then stops after 2 secs, and then goes back to the folder with my movies in it. Sometimes it won't even start the movie at all. Or when I try to play an mpeg movie, it simply makes  a lot of noise on the screen, and I get green dots all over...

I'm using XBMC-2004.09.25 and Project Mayhem skin (don't know if that's important), the original hd of xbox and smartxx chip.

My computer runs WinXp Home Edition, and I've networked it through a zyxel hub.

Anything else I need to provide?

I'm just wondering if your video settings for the XBMC are correct. I would double check those in the settings menu in XBMC. Also, the sound/audio settings. I'm not sure of what kind of set up you have, are the outputs to the TV analog, digital?   <

I'm using digital output, logitech z680. AniStrophic filtering, apart from that everything is default settings.   <

Sorry, I forgot to do that last post. Didn't understand much by that log cause the file opened fine, then just went back the screen where I choose movie.  <

I submitted a bug report on this on SourgeForge, but nothing has been done with it yet.

There are a lot of others having similar problems
