Movier Trailers With No Sound
« on: September 29, 2004, 09:13:00 PM »

Got the script and got it to play, but no matter which resolution I pick, I don't get any sound.

Because I am getting a picture, I'm assuming I have the right codec.  Is there something separate for the sound?

Thanks,

You need to get the quick time dll files. Take a look in the "Important Topics And Threads" pinned topic to get and install them.  <

Thanks guys, I'll look for the DLL's tonight.

I have the 0925 CVS, so I have the correct mplayer.

Isn't it odd that I get a picture if I don't have the DLL's?

no.

mplayer.dll can decode the picture (sorenson codec if i remeber correct) but you must have the extrnal codecs that i host in the pinned topic for sound to be able to decode.  <
