Your BIOS is looking for evoxdah.xbe, since there isnt on there, it cant boot. You can access the static IP of the XBox?  You can just edit the evox.ini on the slayers CD, and then reburn it.  Head over to the Evox forums for info on that.  Once you have FTP access, just rename the default.xbe of XBMC to evoxdash.xbe, make sure you edit the xboxmediacenter.xml so it knows where the home dir (open it in notepad and edit it) is since your using it as a dash, and reboot.    <

 what version of xbmc do you have network settings have been moved from the xml to the GUI now (Settings->General->Network) if you have one of the 1.1 release candidate versions then try in there and wipe the network settings from the xml or better still use the new xml that came with that release and then copy in your bookmarks into that

also reset the settings by either holding back and start while xbmc loads up/delete the xbmc gamesave in m$ dash/delete E:\TDATA\0face008  <

Ok
iv just tied deleting that folder.
i moved back to evox as dash, 2 c if the problem was still there

evox is working fine now. i can connect fai ftp with a static ip
how ever when.
but when i change static to no, in the evox settings
save and exit.
now it reboots & does not gimme any ip @ all.

the main reason iwant to fix this is.
i found running with a static ip , i could not stream fro my pc.
correct me if im wrong.

i look in my general settings, dont think iv got the latest version
and cant change network setting in the GUI
