Setting It All Up
« on: February 03, 2020, 04:38:00 PM »

Hello
I have a newbi question. I purchased a SATA card (VT6421A) and a new Samsung TS-H943 - 360 drive to flash. I have a Benq in my 360. Before i rip apart my 360 elite and pull out the Benq,  I have been trying to setup my system using the Sammy drive. I insstalled the 6421 card and windows recognizes it no problems.....Its when i try to connnect my Samsung through a "Zeon connectivity kit". My computer hangs....and will not recover  unless I unplug either the power or the SATA cable from the Samsung. I have tried everything here but cannot get Windows to recognize the drive. I also have booted into DOS with a ddos boot disc with MTKflash on it and MTK says it cannot find any drive. Can some one please push me in the right direction? I have read many many post with a similar question but for the most part there was NO answer! HELP please. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/uhh.gif)

I think you need to re read some tutorials 10 or more times because you dont seem to be heading in any right direction at all on what you are doing.

There are plenty of good tutorials here to read that will teach you everything you need to know.

Also I hope you do know that you will need to cut traces and solder a switch on your benq drive to rip the firmware off it to get the key before you need to do anything at all with the Samsung drive.

I am offering you help. I am offering you the opportunity to learn how to mod your 360 without bricking it. I am saying that all the info you could ever want and need is all at your fingertips right here on this amazing website we like to call x-scene.com. All you have to do is take the time and look. If after you read all the info available to you for your project and then you still have a question please feel free to ask. But all the questions you had asked are already answered for you. More ever your questions would have been better received if you had written them in a way that suggested that you had already read the related tutorials to your dilemma.

And thanks for all the nice comments.  Have a good day.
