Problem With Iprep+usb
« on: October 07, 2007, 02:17:00 PM »

This is my first time attempting to upgrade the firmware on my samsung ms25 and I'm following a the textbook.pdf tutorial on 360mods.

I've loaded the 1.2revC or whatever into iPrep and adjusted the settings accordingly; though when I select the  drive letter of my flash drive and start the prepping process I get an error, see below.

"Exception Processing Message c00000a3 Parameters 75b6bf7c 4 75b6bf7c 75b6bf7c"

I just want to get some things straight; at this point my xbox is not connected to my PC in any way as I believe thats the next step, am I correct?

Also am I using the right hardware (usb ect) and software for my drive version? (samsung ms25)

thanks

Are you sure you're using a via 6421 pci card? I've tried flashing a few ms-25's that need the "10 second trick", much like ms-28's which is why I ask.

it can by any via chipset.  mobo bridge chipset or pci add-on sata card chipset.  just make sure it says VIA in white lettering on the black square. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
