Flash 360 Drive Through Usb?

Yep , you can actually get a cheap sata - usb ($24 on Newegg.com) and it'll work with the Laptop as long as its got a restart button . Does you laptop have a restart/reset button ?

Maybe a little more detail in what you mean by the reset button would help us laptop users. I also have a laptop but it just has a single power button. Does firmware flashing require a boot into DOS mode? More info would be greatly appreciated. I have a v79 Hitachi. Thanks

I have a Hitachi v59, and trying to do it through USB to SATA. Shows as installing drivers for a USB-ATA-APTPI Bridge, then switches to USB mass storage device and fails to install. Help is appreciated!
