Greetings all,

I am considering the purchase of a JAP (Skeleton) Console, and I live in the US.

I have heard these consoles are all v1.0 boxes with Thompson drives. If this is the case (or even if it isn't exactly), can you end up with a modded box that is NTSC and LIVE compatible? For example:

- Can you install a mod chip as you normally would on a v1.0 box?
- Can you change the video mode? (or do you even need to?)
- Do you have to replace the power supply for US use?
- Do you have to replace the EEPROM for LIVE use?

Anything else I have overlooked, or is it basically as simple as a US mod?
