I created thumbnails for my emu's, apps, and xbox games. They work perfectly. Renamed the image to default.tbn, placed it in the folder of the game/app/emu, etc. I'm wondering though, I then tried this same process for pictures that I installed in F:\Pictures\CarPics. I wanted to set a picture as a thumbnail for the folder Car Pics. I used a picture I had that wasn’t resized, but I put it in the CarPics directory, and renamed it default.tbn, and it didn’t show when I went to XBMC > My Pictures.
I then tried to use an image for the F:\drive to no avail. Do I need to resize the image? The image for the F drive was already sized, how come that didn’t show?

rename it folder.jpg/folder.png depending on the picture format- see if that works
