The enable0800.iso is only for backing up your own original games it is not needed to perform the firmware flash.

no, the xtrm0800 file is used to put your 360's DVD drive into 0800 mode making it possible to create your own backup games from the original. it doesnt have anything to do with flashing your drive to play backups nor does it have anything to do with backing up your drives original firmware.

you wont need the XTRM0800.BIN file unless you plan on making backups of your original games.

Hope that answers your question

What is causing all the confusion is the newer versions of the firmware.. (you said you are using  v3.3) has the Enable800 firmware incorporated with the regular firmware.

Previously to get the Samsung drive to detect in windows you needed a different firmware then the one for playing backups (thus xrteme.bin and xtr800.bin) and had to reflash back and forth.

With the newest revisions of firmware you burn the Enable800.iso to a DVD+R DL and place it into the drive.  That disk turns on Windows recognition and enables backup up your games.  When the disc is not insterted the firmware acts normally.  All in the single firmware.
