just trying to confirm. the Xbox360 plays backup dvd's? I may have missed this in other post, being that i wasnt planning on modding my 360. but im watching a backup right now!!
How or why is this possible?

first of all if its a dvd movie backup yes it will play even in an unmodded xbox,xbox360,ps2 so pls stop asking or spreading rumours that you can play game backups on any unmodded system thank you and come again

since its main function is a game console, not a dvd player, and nobody relaly gives a fu** if it plays burned movies

and who the hell calls movies backups, backup is assumed=game

Well I would assume people who backup movies. If you went to a movie backup site and said backup while talking about a game they would probably say who the hell calls games backups, backup is assumed=movie.

Now, while I would normally be one of the people jumping on the guy for spamming or trying to show off or flat out lying, it doesn't look like he did any of that so cut the guy some slack (if the topic was changed before I got here then I retract this comment, it currently reads "Backup Dvd Plays In Unmodded 360?")

And the reason it plays is that DVD's are not required to have encryption or even CSS. DVD's are not signed and that is why you can play them off of anything, alter their contents, etc.
