Xbox Newbie Question..
« on: April 07, 2006, 01:12:00 AM »

Yeah, in order to put your MP3's on the x360's hdd you need to burn them to cda then rip them to the HDD. I just use a CDRW to do this. You can always hook a USB HDD up to the x360 and use it as your music storage.

You can play video files from your PC if your running XP Mce [not sure about xp home / pro] the problem is that the 360 cant read any movies encoded with Divx, so you need to use a 3rd party program to convert them on the fly.

You need MCE to stream video, but not pictures or music.

im sure a chip will come out one day.. buts its a LONG way off i feel.

Also i dont think having a 360 in your car is a good idea. They tend to be VERY sensitive to movement and apparently scratch the DVD's really easily.. So ifg you were playing a game while driving the simple act of turning a corner or hitting a bump could scratch your game badly.
