I was just wondering, does the HDD do more than just storing save games, trailers etc. I mean, does it store cache files like the old Xbox did?

Also, i read u can use a pc usb HDD, but does it act as a storage device in which u can save game saves to? Or does just let u play music and look at pictures?

Yes the 360 HDD does catch files

You can hook up a pc usb hdd but it can only be read from (pictures, videos, music) not written to

Videos from a USB hdd? are you sure about that?
