Will Teh External Hdd..

Will the ext. HDD plug in to the side (or top, wahtever you want)  direcly or will there be a cord required so the hdd jsut kind of flops out form an input plug?

I'm fairly certain it's a direct plug... That's what we've seen with the prototypes at least.

The design could change before launch but I doubt it.

Most likely is a direct plug in kind of like the PS2 HD when its connected to the network adaptor, just slide it in and it snaps onto the PS2 IDE connector.

If a chip comes out for the xbox 360 and you wanted to upgrade the hdd would you be able to buy a sata drive and just put it in the xbox 360 well thats if there is a chip for it witch most likely im guessing there will be....
