this RUiN guy is nothing but a forum troll trying to get into arguments with ppl to try and get a large virtual penis to compensate for his really small one. ubernewb summed it up nicely with the car comparison. And RUiN tried to dispute it, but he already made his "argument" with:

Why does either side of the arguement really give two shits about what the goddamn thing looks like? Looks are secondary, it's the guts of the system that are important. I don't know about you, but I think the 360 has some great insides. I don't care what it looks like.

Ruin, seriously, get some help. If you aren't going to buy a 360 based on it's "PS2 similarity" then you have some fucked priorities.

Yes I am to blame for my point being lost just as much(maybe more) then anyone.
I was realy just trying to sparke a conversation on how everything is starting to look similar in todays market place.
Toyota's look like honda's, audi's look like mercadies, ect.
I guess I just got sick of all the responces either saying I was blind stupid, ignorant and so on, I kind of lost it.
So if I have offended anyone then I am sorry, I should not have made any personal remarks and I regret ever letting my self get caught up in it.

The Xbox 360 is actually a bit smaller than the Playstation 2. If you really compare them very closely, you will see why the Xbox 360 is a bit smaller than the Playstation.

Now If you think that the Xbox 360 is much bigger than Playstation 3, you have been fooled by images like this.

Last thing, there is a picture, well sadly a photoshopped picture of the newer smaller version of the Playstation 2, the Xbox 360, the Playstation 2, and the Playstation 3, as I said, it was photoshopped, but it should give you an idea of a size between Xbox 360 and Playstation 2, although I have no idea why he didn't put in Xbox also, but the Playstation 3 size compared to the Xbox 360, is that Playstation 3 is not smaller, but bigger. As I said... photoshopped..

When you see this site, the first post, don't look at that picture of the comparsion, its photoshopped, but take a look at his signature... That guy holding the Ps3, so funny. Keep scrolling down to another picture where the consoles are measured except for the Playstation 3, I would say that would be pretty close to actual sizes.

@RUiN if u want to compare a 360 and a ps2 saying they look the same and ms have designed there 360 on the ps2

lets look back a little in console history
and looking at it your way u can see who sony stole all there ideas from

philips cd-i

ps1 Vs cd-i 450 both have flip top lids both have there controllers plugging in the front

then with ps2 they went back again to philips cd-i 210 even older then the 450
both have slots in front and cd trays that eject out of the front
and both look like a black brick
both come with movie capabilitys and audio cd player

u can compare any console with something but u saying somebody who has never seen them b4 could mix them up well .............................

Aside form your argument thax, or conclusion, many people (not on this forum) dont like the look of the 360.

The definistion of a premise=The underlying rationale for an argument or proposal.

So not to argue with you but the stament is invalade both by you and Cattykid, neither make an argument or a premise, they made a statment not suported by fact, just opionion.
