I did from the bottom mainly. A little from the top but i didnt want to keep it on top for long because theres alot of stuff to burn, lol.  I pretty much followed the heatgunning guide on here word for word. I'll try again and i'll time it just to make sure its 4 minutes. How far should a hold the gun away from the board?

Hold the gun like 1.5 fists away from the mainboard...
Use this guide to heatgun and isolate the mainboard or you will fry your capacitors in these 4 minutes...

You preheat it on the lowest step for like a minute and then you do exactly 4 minutes on the second step.
After 3 minutes the solder hasnt reflowed properly yet and after 5 minutes and more the isolation will start smoking, 4 minutes is just perfect.

What kind of washer set up are you using? like stated

If its this
CPU heatsink - metal washer - nylon washer - mobo - nylon washer - metal washer - screw

GPU heatsink - metal washer - nylon washer - mobo - nylon washer - metal washer - screw

try this
CPU heatsink - nylon washer - mobo - nylon washer - screw

GPU heatsink - nylon washer - mobo - nylon washer - screw

Basically remove the metal washers from your set up.. and tighten everything snug.. dont over tighten anything!

might have to do the heatgunning again and then do this washer set up idea

beast of luck

So 4 minutes on each side (total of 8 minutes)?

Well I just tried heatgunning it with no luck. I also tried the different combo of washers but when I do that I get error 0031 (unknown). I noticed my mobo is alot more flexible than it used to be. I think that could be one of the main problems. I think i'm pretty much screwed.
