Hey everyones! I always been using XSAM on USB flashstick for read/flash Samsung ms25 and ms28 but upgraded to latest iPrep to use for BenQ and Samsung at same time. I use VIA 6421 PCI card for read/flash and always work 100% with XSAM but now with iPrep i try to read ms28 for first time and do 10 sec routine but no luck (getting hangup and no read on powerup). I restart and try again but this time i try to read like ms25 (no poweroff before selecting option to read device) and mtkflash reads all banks OK 100%. I backup orig.bin and open in FWToolbox to verify but reads as unknown device unknown firmware, drive key all FFFFFFFF's. I put 360 back together to test if working like before (still unflashed) and system start up with 1 red light and e65 code. Need to know if iprep caused it with botched read attempt (I understand risk of course) but specifically to know if the firmware i to read off it will be valid. If invalid, is it possibly to extract key with HexReader and replace in valid ms28 firmware? Thanks for any input!
