Error Code 01023
« on: March 30, 2008, 10:52:00 AM »

My console is a launch console and has lasted a long time because of all the cooling mods i've done. Yesterday I turned it on and I started to play and it freaked out. Now it just get 3 red lights. I tried to see if it would boot with no dvd drive same thing. What should I do to fix this code?

Thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

If you mean that your secondary error code is 0102, go for the X-Clamp replacement this usually fixes this error
If it is supposed to mean 1023 we will have to do some research but as you get the 3 RLOD and not just 1 RLOD 1023 is impossible...

I get no codes on the screen. But if I do the hold the sync button and use the dvd drive button It gives me a zero then a one then a zero then a two and last a three. Why is there that axtra zero in the front of the code? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

Well there is rather an "extra" three as the error codes have only a length of 4 digits...
The last 3 that you get is the ROD itself after it showed the secondary error code...
So your errorcode is 0102 which is a problem with the digital backbone. If your 360 is still covered under the warranty send it in.
Otherwise go for the X-Clamp replacement this fixes the nost xboxes which show that error

I'll have to fix it myself because it's modded.
