Does anyone know if this works with all PS2 compatible controllers or only official Sony ones?

I could careless about the mouse/keyboard part, but PS2 had some great controllers for 2D fighters and with Street Fighter Turbo HD Remix coming out soon it'd be nice to have some good alternatives to the 360 controller.
