Quieting Dvd Drive?

Hey, I have the BenQ drive, anyway I can make it quieter than a Boeing 747 at takeoff?

If I could quiet it down to a Boeing 727 that would be great.

flash it with iXtreme firmware and choose a slower reading speed 12x is stock and extremely loud try 8x or 5x, however the games might take a bit longer to load then

You may not like this solution, but I extended the DVD drive cables so that I could make it external, put a huge fan on the GPU heatsink and wrapped a towel around the DVD drive.
