is there support or planned support for this feature... ithink this software is amazing and has huge implications for mobile use (aka CAR STEREO)... touch screen stuff would we wonderful, otherwise i'll just have to jack it into a std monitor... <

hookup a wireless lan, then use a wifi pocket pc to control xbmc, you get your touch screen right there. <

if you could elaborate a bit... you can use a palm pilot to see the xbmc menu (aka my music) and select & control mc on the xbox??? if so... could you point me in the direction of those instructions??? <

Settings->general->http server
On Pc:
http://xboxip_adress
Other thing todo:
Get
THIS
webserver skin and use instead of the one you have in your XBMC/web folder. It is optimized for ppc. <

Im hoping someone can make a Webserver page in WML format so then it could be controlled via Cell Phone with Wap Access

i think what he ment is that if u get one of those car tv screens with touch screen would xbmc be able to support that?? lik instead of using the remote..just touch the screen to do what u wanna do.. example: if u want my music..just click the my music tab with your finger <

ummm...i really dont know alot about this question but i am intrested in it cuz im going to put my xbox one day in ym car..just afraid of getting it stolen..so i fould like bolt it to the car trunk or sumting...how r u going about setting that up? and the link u gave me shows a serial port...so i kno getting the picture on your TV would be easy! but i dont think xbmc has this feature..maybe u should request it in the forum called..." what we liek to see in the future" or sumting lik that..good luck! <

Yea I really hope they get this working as I would love to put a xbox in the trunk of my car and be able to play music and videos on a touch screen up front. <
