Ok here's the situation. I've read plenty of times that this error is dvd timed out firmware problem or southbridge chipset maybe or even possible that it's the gpu.
This system is atleast sec gen. and i thought i could fix it. so with this knowledge, i first (hopefully) fix any cold sodders in the cpu and the gpu with the heat gun fix. then i got this error(0021) i swapped the dvd player same error, i've tooken off the dvd player and started it same error, i've played with ever capacitor they all work.
and the only thing i can think of is flashing the firmware on the dvd player but if it were that when i change or unplug the dvd player. then turn it on it should be a different error code i would think? and as for the southbridge chipest i dont even know which on it is. Its making me extremely mad if anyone could possiblepoint me in the right direction that would be most awesome. (IMG:
