Simple question but i suspect the answer is far from it!
Does anyone actually know EXACTLY what is the cause of error 0020?
I have been suffering from 0120 so applied Arctic Silver 5 blah, blah penny fix blah, blah and have been up and running just over a day when i went to start a fresh game of GOW.It went to the dashboard "Unplayable disc" and when i reset the console i got 0020????
After a few on and offs  it became rather random in that it wouls be green lights and working one minute and 0020 red lights the next.At one point when i was trying to deliberately induce this error it would not occur?
I believe that im over the worst of it  with all the fixes i have done and to be honest if it was my console i would live with it but its not,its a friends console that went wrong and i (stupidly on reflection!) enthusiastically mentioned that i had previously battled said dragon when my own 360 0120'd and had sent it running thus got dumped with his.I know the difference between the errors and can aproach it rationally where as all he sees is red lights and so will be battering down my door for answers and if i just knew what the exact reason for 0020.
Another thing i have noticed is that i initially flashed this 360 (Hitachi Gdr 46d) and backups were playing perfectly (Verbatims finest) then i tried a backup of GOW (retail copy bought backup that is!) which had played fine previously and got a "unplayable disc" this is when 0020 appeared and although it comes and goes i have found that ever since that first instance of 0020 backups have become less reliable.with some that were perfect previously now refuse to load.
Sorry to go on a bit but i wanted you to know ALL the facts.
Cheers.
