No Power After X-clamp Method

When you try booting the system with the X-Clamps replaced with washers, and it doesn't boot, is the system inside the metal case? If it is, try it with it outside. If it is outside, then perhaps your washers are touching something, causing a short.

i think i might of found the issue. when i tightened both clamps (With washers). i noticed that the mobo is not straight in the middle. if i loosen all 8 bolts, it tries to boot then overheats. does that mean i need longer bolts? i used the 5x10mm

fixed it. did not line up the mainboard standoff, everything if running fine so far. lets see for how long. Thanks you all you guy's help. i appreciate every bit of it
