Need Help With My 360 And Sending It In

ok i have my xbox 360 and there is something wrong with the cd driver. It will say reading for  about 2 seconds and will go back to open tray. I've talked to customer support about it and they are saying that it is out of warranty. The manufacuring date is 10-20-2005. So it is one of the first ones and they say i don't have a warranty on it. I have taken the 360 shell off and the void sticker is a little messed up just a few little silver pieces are messed up. Can anyone help me with some kind of way to get them to take it in and send me a new one, cause this is what i have so far.

I was going to call them up and say that there is something wrong with the driver. Then when they have me turn it on to do the troubleshooting steps i was going to say that three red lights came on (but i don't know the error message for the three lights of doom or anything i need a little help with what it will all look like so it will seem real). This way they will automatically take it in. Then i'm not so sure about the rest like what they will do with it or if i will just get all my money taken cause i don't want to waste 99 dollars just cause of the little messed up things on the void sticker.

That's warranty fraud there genius, don't ya wish your first post on the forums wasn't yer last?
