If any one is curious on how the new falcons are performing Ill tell you how mine is so far mind you ive only had it a few days and not played halo 3 on it yet. I ran Forza 2 on it about 2 hours and PGR3 for about a hour and it has yet to get hot. It seems to run cooler than my old one and very quietly. My dvd drive is like completely silent compared to my old 360's. Also the discs come out warm but not hot at all like my old 360's. No warmer than my actual dvd player is and my room temp is about 75F. Also the fans are darned near silent and does not put out that much heat. So far compared to my old 360 that finally completely died and you could have fried an egg on this one is a major improvement but time will tell if it will last.
