Dvd Eject Jammed

Well its kinda obvious, my DVD tray won't open. if i remove the faceplate and use manual eject it works fine (ofcourse) but can anyone give me a repair tip? i have no problem disassembling the console so, any help will do, I'm just tired of praying it open.
