Is it possible to have more than 2 memory units?  I know the old XBOX1 had one per controller.  That's perfect.  But with only two slots, it's not enough.

I have a game night with 6 people coming over every other weekend.  We're at the point that almost everyone has their own memory unit to use their profile.  With four of us on a xbox, that means we need to stop playing, go to the console and move at least two profiles onto the hard disk.  Then later that night we need to move them back.  It's a hassle.  At least if we could pop in 4 cards, we'd be golden.

It's possible, and this is pure speculation because I don't have a Memory card to try it or I would and let ya know for sure, so don't go taking it as fact, but you may be able to use a 3.3v Regulator and any of the USB ports. The reason for the 3.3v Regulator is the Memory cards use 3.3v and the USB ports are 5v, so that has to be dealt with, as does the different connectors, but an old 360 boards Memory card ports and a couple of USB cables can resolve that issue quick enough. It's possible that M$ has the 360 setup so it 'knows' that only those 2 ports are for the Memory card, so it may not even work with the voltage being right, even though they're essentially just 2 more USB ports with different voltage on them. But like I said I don't have a card to test that theory or I would. If that works ya loose the 2 front USB ports while everyone is there, but if everyone has a Wireless controller and it does work then problem solved. Try this at your own risk though, since it's just an educated guess right now, unless ya wanna send me a Memory card to see for sure. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Yeah, a little messier than I planned for.  I'm sure there is a little market for this, or so I hoped.  Well, for now until I happen along a dead 360 for dirt cheap we'll just keep moving profiles.  Maybe I'll e-mail Datel too.
