Ms28 Dirty Disc Error

I have over 100 dvd+r DL media from a company called WinData, these played super in a hitachi 59dj, but in the ms28 they play the game intro and when loading, then an error would appear saying dirty disc.
Would a pot calibration help, is that recommened, is there a shorter life span of the drive? Memorex and Verbatim play without any problems. It is a waste of these Windata discs.

Try the POT tweak and see what results ya get, just go a little bit on the value. As long as ya don't have to adjust it a lot it's not a really big deal, but any laser that gets adjusted is going to have a different lifespan than what it originally did, and the things are so 'iffy' anyway that ya wouldn't really be able to tell if it died from the adjusting or just on it's own.
