Ok Have A Fan Setup Now With Usb And Shroud

Hi,
   I have done

1)shroud mod and

2) exposed the back off the fans i have cut the metal mesh.

I have cut a square hole roughly 3inch by 3inch either side of the case about 1 inch from the faceplate, and attached fans either side powered by the USB which have been channel by card towards the CPU and GPU.

Will this be any benefit, first impressions are its blowing colder air from the back but havent had it on that long.

True, True i havent had chance to upload pics yet cant find my cable.

What answer are you looking for exactly? Will it prevent you from getting a 3LOD .. probably not.. is it a permanet fix? Most likely not, since I and several other people have to re-adjust/overheat once in a while. Does the shroud/fan improve anything? yes .... they sure do....

Best solution is either to send it back to ms or buy a new one...
