« on: October 07, 2007, 06:39:00 PM »

hello ppl

while trying for many hours all the mods in the world on 1 of the xboxs i tried 2 repair for my friends , i was removing the pennies after the complete failure of that mod , but due to anger and less focus , i tried 2 remove the pennies from on of the bottom rams with a screw driver , but i scratched the mother board and seems on a crtical place , i tried to clean the place 2 find out the damages , looks like the the copper color is exposed now , but cant really tell if its cut or not

now the 3 damn lights doesnt go , and i boxed up the xbox , but thought maybe some1 has got any idea how bad is the case

thank u

I'm not gonna be looking at it...

...and one bump per day is more than enough, things on a forum don't move as fast as ya like sometimes.

The flash reflecting off the board, from what I can make out in the small image of it anyway, doesn't help either.

Resize it to around 800x600 or so and upload it to someplace like PhotoBucket and post in in the thread that way.

I can tell ya right now without knowing exactly where that spot was at, there's almost no way to see it in the larger pic there, the close up is pretty good though and it can be seen alright.

I still can't tell 100% though if the trace has been severed, it does look it from that pic, but without having it or a much more detailed pic I can't say for certain. If it is severed though that's going to make for one wild repair job and take some serious patience and skill, being as close to the RAM chip as it is and all.

I wasn't implying give up, just that it's most likely something ya aren't gonna be able to fix on your own and will be a right difficult job no matter who does it. If that 360 had problems before though ya may not want to bother with having it repaired.
