I recently had the 3 red circles and am in the process of ending the 360 back to microsoft.  I have the premium console now and microsoft only wants to console, not the hard drive.  I don't want to not have a console for the month or so that microsoft will have mine so I am going to buy another console.  I am planning on buying the core and putting my hard drive on that one.  Does anyone see any advantage of buying another console besides the core and if so what would that be?  Thanks for letting me pick your brain.
