I'll try to keep this short I guess.  I've search on Google for information on this and here but I couldn't find it:

My friend and I acquired an Xbox360 that was used and the guy said that it doesn't work.  Well, we're working on it right this moment and the problem is that the power button, AND the reset button to the DVD drive do not turn the Xbox360 on.  We have it plugged in correctly, and we can swap the power back to a different 360 and it works fine.  So it is not the power supply brick.  We're wondering if anyone has a clue as to what the deal may be so we can salvage the console.

If there's anything else that you'd need to know in order to help me please ask.
