Hey guys.. I just installed my first Globe 360 in a Xbox 360 with Dvd-drive Hitachi 59DJ, and I must say, Globe 360 looks sweet and all, but their diagrams and so called "help-guides" suck (IMG:

French and Italian? I dont speak.. and I tried some babelfish translation, but didnt find anything about my problems..
My XBox 360 just WONT turn on when the dvd-drive is connected with the modchip installed + pwr cable + eject cable..
when I remove the dvd-drive it turns on fine with error ofcourse..
What can be my problem? Ive followed the guides Ive found and done the soldering pretty gentle and neat, also did good isolation on the wires..
Ive been soldering gaming consoles for 4 years now, + I handle the dremelling and 3-wire reroute on the new wii motherboards well, so think Im pretty qualified for installing Globe360 (IMG:

Anyone know why I wont turn on with the chip installed? I used normal KYNAR wires on the + and - for the chip, could this have anything to do with the problem? I went over all the points and couldnt find a short.. this is just too weird.. I mean, that it just simply wont turn on, .. Ive checked the power-adapter and I tried the same power-adapter on another 360 and it turned on fine.. so it has to be something with the chip and wiring/soldering..
and ofcourse, it could just be that the chip is DOA, in which case I will be pretty mad at the resellers that gave me this one to write about for my norwegian console homepage..
Any hinters please?
I will thank Xbox-scene.com in my article if you guys help me out here (IMG:
