First Hands-On: Xbox 360 Messenger Kit and ChatPad

I don't quite understand why they would change the mic JUST for the chatpad. I mean, they could've always just put a plug on it like they did on the guitar hero controllers. I don't really like the mic to begin with, but it doesn't make sense to me why they did that, except maybe to raise the price a little.

The keyboard looks small. I like to type normally, like on a normal keyboard. It would take A LOT of getting used to to type using my thumbs, while holding onto the controller.

The whole age thing is a bunch of crap. M$ only requires that you are 13, I believe, when you sign up for an MSN account, which is the same age they require for you to have Xbox Live.... So what's the big deal over child accounts? My parents don't care what I do on my xbox. I can access EVERYTHING from the internet while on my computer, so why would they care about the xbox? There should be a Perental Control option to allow access to MSN Messenger on the 360 to child accounts.

I think M$ needs to think things through a little more.

20 bucks not a bad deal. light up to but there right its good for live messanger and the 360 mmos. otherwise voice chat is a better choice. but if you use live messanger or play a 360 mmorpg out or upcoming its a relly good thing to have.
