This is half the size of the original one, easy to carry and best choice for gamers, using the real guitar wood for authentic gameplay. This unit must be used with the XFPS 360 when you wish to use it on the Xbox 360. It is also compatible with the PS2.

lol. That would have been awesome if I didn't have to have an XFPS 360 to use it.

There are, *maybe*, six people who will use this. Ever.

totally agree, possibly even less then that. Whoever though this was a good idea is a moron. I have never once EVER heard anyone say man i LOVE guitar hero but it would be so much better if the guitar was WAY SMALLER!

btw the pic looks shopped and i am kind of even wondering if its a real product

Sadly this is real.  Brought to you by the same guys who released a waterproof bag so you can play your PSP while you swim.  Xtender really make stuff just to make it sometimes.

The buttons are photoshopped, luckily. They look horrible. The whole guitar looks like the ps2 version, which sucks. The xplorer is way cooler.

What my bro and i have been thinking of doing, is getting an old cheap electric guitar and putting the xplorer insides in it. Some people will say "whats the point of that?", but its full size guitar, might be easier to play, and of course, its modding, so it'll be fun and so worth it!

Love the 'its an accessory for an accessory quote'. Hilarious!

yea... the guitar you normally use is small enough to transport easily... i dont see any reason for a smaller one.  it will probably make it hard to play too, because your fingers will be all so close.

They couldn't just put a USB port on it and do away with the XFPS360?

You should just learn real guitar if you want to go through all that trouble.

I'm sure that's part of it, but if memory serves you need a authentication chip to make a controller work on a 360. (That way MS gets their licensing money). XFPS is a way to get around that, so they avoid giving MS their due.

and you should buy a 360 elite if you want a black one instead of painting one. or play a neo geo instead of cramming an xbox inside one *cough*(sarcasm)*cough*.. this site is all about modding.. there is no reason why someone shouldnt be able to mod something to make it do what they want

"easy to carry and best choice for gamers, using the real guitar wood for authentic gameplay"

what a terrible idea and poor choice to try and increase XFPS sales.

and how does the "real guitar wood" make for authentic game play on a miniature device anyways?

cute gimmick - that's all this is.
