Yea as long as you don't need a copy for each screen...

After spending all the money for the hardware and equipment complaining that you need a copy for each screen would be stupid at that point...

No not really considering I'm also complaining about the 4 $500 elite 360's required to run the 4 $ 60 games in hdmi which equals about $2300 extra after taxes.

SO if I needed to buy a second computer + extra software licenses to use multiple 21" widescreen lcd's on my pc it would be stupid to complain about it?

That is bad ass alright.  But if I had that kind of money to burn I would already have a real lamborghini and not even need that bad boy.

You people are bad at math. This thing couldn't possibly cost more then say $20k which is probably a pretty big overestimate. A super exotic will run at least 100-200k for the 'base line' model. So go get yourself a compact car instead.

LOL i can see the 12 red light posts already, the setup is way OTT which makes it even more awesome! all you need is a fan for your face and a sun lamp to point on your right arm and its a "real driving experience"

oh dear - some very misinformed people ...

To those that have a car, yet alone a modern exotic performance car - watch it depreciate in value like a brick in water - a car is NOT an investment peroid !

For those that appreciate Forza 2 (ie those with cars and more likely performance cars that have driven on track) then you'll know that this game is very very good with a single screen with a pad.

Now to have 3 screens (front view, and peripheral vision/side mirrors screens), rear view mirror, feedback wheel, bucket seat, pedals that allow heel and toeing, gear stick etc - it must be bloody awsome - probably as close to a 'real simulator' as you're going to get.

Yes, of course it's costs money - but I bet in comparison to a professional simulator it's dirt cheap.

I want one ...  huh.gif

What about classic cars? Like that AC427 or w.e it is

Holy hell there are some immature people on here...

Atleast some realize this setup is not targetted towards the average joe... Would you buy it if it cost you $20? To wealthy people spending $10,000~ is like us spending $20, no big deal, pocket change to them

Just like someone said earlier, the same people who buy this, buy 10-bedroom mansions, yachts, jets, ferrari's, etc... So just admire it for what it is, pointless to go off about what a waiste of money it is

Nice, when the Cores drop in price and I gain another 2 19" widescreen monitors ill definitely build a forza 2 multi display rig.

Reminds me of the chair dude had in Grandma's Boy tongue.gif

Anywayz, I can't understand why you need 4 xboxes for this. I DO understand that you can't have multiple displays with just one video card on the 360, but how can you have 4 copies of the game running and have everything match-up correctly. Somebody explain HOW this works, please?

Through the network cables I believe. You change the settings in the menu so it knows to use multipile screens.  Then the 360s can comunicate  and it syncs up the screens over the network cables connecting them all. You use a seperate 360 for each screen because you need a seperate graphics card amongst other things to display and compute that much info for that many screens.

THIS HAS GOTTA BE THE MOST RETARDED WASTE OF MONEY! jester.gif

made for retards with no life. 3 xbox, 3 forzas, 3 screens, seat, frames stearing wheel

WOW GET READY TO GET ANOTHER MORTGAGE. Now thats just FUCKED.

I rather use that money and invest in something that WON'T depreciated... BUY SOME STOCK/BONDS/T-BILLs/FORWARDS INSTEAD!! YOU MIGHT ACTUALLY MAKE SOME MONEY FROM A SMART INVESTMENT.

OF COURSE it's too expensive for your average joe, but imagine FOR COMPETITIONS
I think this has potential in pro competitions, I can easily imagine a solution like this in Major League Gaming

perhaps you should learn to THINK BEFORE YOU RANT?

So in other words, the other screens are just watching you play from different angles (like a spectator would). Hell, I can get more network cables, and I've just gotten 2 more 360's... perhaps I'll build my own smile.gif

No vehicle actually appreciates in value. Granted there are some cars (the Enzo, Shelby Cobra, Hemi 'Cudas) that can fetch a much higher price than MSRP on the private collectors market, but if you were to take any one of those cars to a dealer to trade it in, they wouldn't give you squat for it.

Same deal with this contraption. If you were to buy it now and wait ten years or so until the 360 and this setup are long off the market, you may convince a collector to buy it for more than it's worth. Take this for example. That thing isn't worth $5 anymore, but that's not keeping the seller from trying to get $35 out of some collector.

The only real difference is that you are more likely to get an emotional handjob out of people with the Ferrari than you would with the Forza racing setup. That doesn't mean that a car is a better "investment."

All that said, I'd love to be able to afford that setup.

You can do this as well with Forza 1 on the original xbox. Could save you some pennies

Sorry to take a stab at just your post as many people have made the same mistake, but it requires 4 copies of the game as it has 4 screens. Notice the "rear view mirror" screen above and off to the right of the center screen. It also says in the OP that it has 4 Elites and requires a copy in each.

No need to "notice" the rear view mirror screen. See reply above... It's all there in the text. What's wrong with these people...

----------
Anyway, back on topic: I like this set-up. Especially if you make the screens swivel-able, and have an additional couple of seats/beanbags. Then, you have a 3-person set-up for local lan-link parties. Yeeeees, I know there are 4 XBOXes, but playing on the rear view mirror screen will suck.

So, if you throw in additional couple of seats/beanbags and an extra full-size screen, you could have a 3-person set-up for local lan-link parties.

Which will rock!!!
