Can I Swap A Flashed Samsung For A Flashed Hitachi

Hi guys i have a 360 with 3LOD it started freezing on me i opened it up and it makes a buzzing noise it has turned on twice since getting the 3LOD and it had the open tray error. i gotten a new 360 with a hitachi and it has been flashed i was wondering since they are both flashed can i just swap my working hitachi to the broken samsung so then i can purchase a new drive? thanks

No, you need the "key" from your Samsung drive to inject into your Hitachi FW or else the drive will only play CDs and DVD movies and your description of what you're really trying to do isn't very clear. If you're going to get a new drive then leave the Hitachi where it's at, you'll have to inject whatever key from whichever old DVD drive into the new one also or it will not work either.
