Where is the safest place to solder my 12v fan to? like the part on the mobo?

I have a Talismoon Whisper fan.

Ive kept all wires connected to the default places, and connected the red wire to the 12v circled in the pic below.

Hope this helps ya!

(PS: I would recommend you also do what I am trying to do, and that is to reduce the 12v to about 7v, as the noise is unbearable)
