Hi.
My hitachi drive refuses to play games and dvd's. Audio CD's seem to work fine.
It is unmodded.
I put the disc in, it tries to read the disc for around 10 secs then says Open Tray.

Is there any easy fix I could do?

I'd say the laser is probably fecked. They are pretty cheap and easy enough to replace. I've just PM'd you if you don't fancy doing it yourself (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
