Well after going to home depot, I'm mad now. I couldn't find the parts I needed to do this. Are these right?

I just bought these:

#8-32 1"
Flat Washer 5mm
Lock Washer 5mm
#8-32 Lock Nut

Unless anyone actually is going to inventory the part #'s then no one knows them, just go off of what lawdawg is telling you to get, I bought 6 of the bolts at lowes and went right over to lowes after because lowes didn't have another set of them but got identical bolts at home depot. It took me about an hour and a half to look through the ridiculous amount of shelves that lowes had of washer, screws and much much more.

the home depot bolts work, and pretty much everything else is universal.

No.  Home Depot sucks when it comes to screws/bolts where I am.  I went to the local podunk hardware store, and they had about 5 different M5-.80-12mm screws.  You really need screws that say exactly that in order to mesh perfectly with the heatsink.

Agreed, I went to lowes, they had like a mile long of washer, screws, bolts etc. Home depot only had like 5 feet, and it was very unorganized and looked a million years old.

Does anyone know of a website to order these parts in bulk? I was able to get enough to fix my 360, but neither Home Depot OR Lowe's have enough for me to even do another one.

The best and most promising thing to do is go to your local lowes and get the parts and IF they don't have them, have them special order them for you, and maybe have them let you know when they're available. Either that or just keep calling them until they get them in.

Yeah I agree with the fact of HD not having the parts list. Lowes did come through for me as well but they ran out of the washers that I needed.  I used the rubber ones instead and everything works fine.  I just want the harder fiber or plastic ones to prevent heat absorbtion.  Going to check today for the right ones Lawdogg mentioned.

I'd say thats a good thing, the fan going loud indicates excess heat.  Anyway some enterprising person should put together a kit.  I don't really want to go to the hardware store and look through tons of parts.
