My god. Be a sensible buyer. If you think 65nm will make your 90nm 'obselete', why didn't you wait? You bought an Elite as soon as it came out. Talk of the 65nm has been around for ages so there is no doubt that you knew it was coming before you bought your Elite. It sounds like you bought it just so you could moan along with the others who cry when their 360 breaks; but also cry when Microsoft actually try to improve the console for your benefit (IMG:

Also I fail to see how the release of a 65nm GPU, possibly CPU of the same specs as the previous model makes it obselete as it will do exactly the same as any other console; but it
may run slightly cooler. Obselete would be if they released the Xbox 3 or a significant hardware change (like a faster CPU) that means you can't play any new Xbox 360 games that are released because they have all been made for this new CPU.
