A Solution For Overheating Xbox's!
« on: April 25, 2007, 04:22:00 AM »

Hello guys,

I was wondering if anyone has heard of the ChillPak?  Its a really cool invention to cool down electronic devices, originally designed for laptops, but I imagine it would work just as well for horizontal 360's

http://www.chillpak.com/

And its invented by Dean Haglund!  (x-files Langly character)

Cool stuff.  Lasts about 4 hours each time (you have to freeze it up), should provide a significant drop in tempreture if used with your 360 (obviously would need to be horizontal)

They are cheap as well.  Just a suggestion.  If all these problems are a result of overheating, then this thing should help things no end!

Besides being pointless, expensive, and a waste of money... you have to freeze the thing before each use...

yeah its pretty retarded. heat rises. so youd want to get the heat out, the easyest way to go is how it naturally flows. so if u have fans on the top of the 360 it would help. but that cool pack, is pointless. try a modded nyko intercooler, or some other mods. theres a bunch on x-s.

you'd think that Langley would have come up with something more high tech than that.

and he didn't really invent anything, it was already there. He just found a new use for it. If he actually concocted the formula for the gel, that would be something worth bragging about.
