try a different tv.

especially if 3 xbox's all did the same thing .

process of elimination means it has to be the tv    (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

It's most likely a crap solder joint casing it, the same thing that is the root of the vast majority of the 360s issues, not bad TVs.

Wrap the thing up completely in a towel for 15min or so running (no disc in the drive and I'd remove the HDD as well) and let it overheat. Then unwrap it and it should be flashing 2 red lights (overheating) then turn it off (you'll have to unplug it) and let it sit for 10min then plug it back up and turn it on, see if you have video then. If ya do it's a crap solder joint somewhere.

ok i had the same problem with a 360 i fixed wht i did was perform the heatgun fix ( u have to now how use a heatgun before trying to do it plz read up alot on that check forum and stuff)
after u do the heatgun fix u should do the replacement of the Xclamps by RBJ
for me wht i did was a combination of heatgun replacement of xclamps added acrtic siler 5 for termal paste
i also did the eraser trick under the board ( but i cut out centre of the eraser and sut termal pad in it so that i can transfer heat form the memmory module to the metal case

i also did some cooling mods i added a 80mm fan directly onto the gpu heatsink and place the dvd rom outside
