3LODs with error code 0020
Followed Lawdawg method.. Couldnt find nylon washers, so improvised by padding the metal ones with plastic stickers and using only a single padded washer on each side.
Result: Fixed the 3LODs... played a quick round of SVR2007, no issues. Posting this within 30mins of the fix. Hope the console stays this way.

Fixed my 360 with numerous problems (No video, 3red lights[0020] and the power button would stay green sometimes but the console wouldnt boot)
Followed lawdogz method but slightly adjusted.
I Put two 5mm washers on one side and one on the other, as i couldnt find any nylon washers. Then bolted it with a 5x10mm screw.
Working fine now no problems at all.
Cheers guys. Im just hoping itll last untill GTA.

So my warranty was already voided because my dvd drive failed about 4 months ago, and I repaired that myself. Just got the RROD, initially with error code 0102. I followed this procedure (although my parts were slighly different because I used what I had at the house) and then was still getting RROD, but the error code was now 0020. After closely inspecting how the heatsinks were contacting the processors, I noticed that the GPU heatsink was bowed slightly, indicating I had possibly tightened it down too much. I loosened the GPU screws, and it worked perfectly. No freezes or red lights yet.

Used RBJtech's method. Still got the 3 red lights to begin with and error code 0002. Thought the motherboard was short circuiting but it turns out that when I loosened the screws on the CPU slightly the RRoD went away and the xbox booted up.

Everything seems to be running fine now.

Hi, I was wondering... I did the x-clamp fix on my 360, i did everything...I plugged it in and the lights went green:) But after playing a while, I took the case apart so i Can attach the final screws, but the heetsinks where so damn hot, but I put the fan the right way! Are they supposed to get so hot? thx

I used lawdawgs method. Had to wrap the xbox in a towel though for about 15 minutes. Still worked and am greatly satisfied. Haven't had any problems since and it has been about two weeks now.

well today I finally got my parts for my attempt to fix my RRoD. I followed lawdawg guide to the tooth and am happy to report great success!

Ran mass effect (the game that it died on) FLAWLESSLY, not a single hint of any glitching.

YAY just in time for GTA
