0110 = Overheating?
« on: March 06, 2007, 06:44:00 PM »

Recently my 360 has been getting the 0110 error.  At first i went out and bought a heat gun to try and fix it but I just disassembled it and found out that its running really really hot.  After being on for roughly 60 seconds, it was burning up. (the memory chips and the GPU heatsink)  They were HOT.  way to hot for being on only 60 seconds.  What are some possible solutions for this?  Whats wrong exactly?  This doesnt seem like a simple replace heatsink issue...

Thanks in advance,
Twist

Are the fans both running ok ?  Heatsinks will hot pretty damn quick without any air movement ....

RAM gets scorching hot as it has no heatsinks - see here for some cooling mods to try ..
