0102 Error Then 0110 Error
« on: February 17, 2007, 07:04:00 PM »

I started getting the 0102 error.  I would fix it by wrapping the 360 in a blanket and let it run for 10-15 minutes.  I've done that twice and it's temporarily fixed it for the day.  I was reading a little in these forums and decided to try and do something more permanent.  I first tried the thermal compound fix because that's the only thing I have.  After cleaning off the existing stuff and then putting on the new one, i put everything back together and started the 360.  Now i'm getting the 0110 error which i believe is memory error/overheating.  What can I do about this?

Check to see if there are any missing caps under your gpu.

what are the caps?  the only thing i touched on the underside of the motherboard are x clamps.  i did notice they had silver rings that go around the screw on for each clamp, i'm missing one of those.  would that have any affect by some chance?  other than that, i don't know.  the clamps are completely reattached and hooked on.

nevermind, the other one is on there.  so yeah, the only thing i fiddled with under the motherboard was the clamps and rings that go around the screens on the heatsink.
