hello im new to this and asking for some help i try to flash my firmware on a Hitachi v0078FK i try doing the Slax CD to get it in Mode-B than after some time of not geting it to work to get in Mode-B i went and try the two wire trick to find out after doing it it dont even work on a Hitachi v0078FK after doing this i found it not opening the dvd tray anymore it seems like its dead i power it off and retry it and still wont open so it looks like its dead to me i wanted to know if maybe a way to fix this or is it dead for good and if its dead is there a way i can buy a new Hitachi v0078FK or a Hitachi and just tack out the old one and put it in and have it work fine or will i have to do stuff to the new dvd rom?
