Transfer Kit Or Xsata?
« on: January 18, 2007, 10:23:00 AM »

My 360 has been freezing on nearly every game i play.  Some games I cannot even play for 2 minutes without freezing.  I am taking these as warning signs of a console going bad.

I have 2 choices:  call MS and get mine repaired that way, wasting 2-3 weeks of gaming (I do not really want to do that)....but i get to keep my content and gamesaves, i'm assuming.

OR...

Take it back to Best Buy, where I would lose all my game saves, and have to redownload all the content I purchased and whatnot.

Luckily there are solutions to the gamesaves, but what of the content?  gamerpics, themes, videos?
My question is, which product, the Transfer Kit or the XSATA, works the best for this situation, on a new xbox?  I am more interested in keeping my game saves than the online content, which i can always redownload, even if it takes me forever.

Thanks for your help

Get the XSATA or the XPORT http://us.codejunkies.com/news_reviews.asp...;i=9072&s=8 to back up your saves then take the 360 back to Best Buy. Hope this Helps.

most places will let you keep your old hdd but you need to call and bitch at microsoft to get your paid content credited back so you can use it when you arent signed into live
