Strange Noises From 360 Dvd
« on: January 14, 2007, 04:26:00 PM »

My 360 has been doing this for a while now. Either with back-ups to original copies of my games, the 360 emits a strange noise, that most likely coming from the DVD. It sounds like it revs up to top speed, the stops suddenly creating a creaking sound. It happens every few minutes, and it's about 5 times louder than just the drive spinning, so it's very noticeable. I thought maybe it's the disk bouncing inside the tray, but I doubt it's that since I've tested the 360 both sideways and upright. Any ideas?
